In 2010 the APSM formed part of the Institute of Physics stand at the BT Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition. Various volunteers were at the stand for two days to promote medical physics and discuss the day-to-day job, in addition training and career paths with visiting students, parents and teachers; while dazzling them with exciting interactive demonstrations and displays. There was a great response from all and our volunteers found the whole experience to be a lot of fun and also a superb opportunity to promote physics and our profession.
